How long have we been in business?
We've been in the
web hosting business since 1998 and host clients all
around the world.

What's our DNS information?
Once your account is setup, we will e-mail you all the
necessary information to login to your account and the
DNS information for your domain name.

Is transferring your domain free?
Transferring a domain name is simple and free. You can
either request the DNS change through your registrar, or
we will be more than glad to assist in this process.

How long does a domain transfer take?
Domain Transfers usually take 24-48 hours once
initiated.

Do we offer dialup Internet access?
No, We do offer dialup or DSL access

What type of Operating System, Server Software and
Hardware are we using?
All of our servers are running the latest versions of
RedHat Operating System, with Apache Web Server and
CPanel Control Panel software. All servers are at least
a Dual Intel Pentium 4 2.4 Ghz with 1 GIG Ram and 2 80 GIG Hard
Drives. Average server load is always less than .2 and
has a 99.99% up time.

Do we offer Technical Support?
Technical Support is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a
week, 365 days a year via E-Mail or by Phone.

How is our Network connected to the Internet?
Each of our Network Operation Centers (NOC) features
high level security, raised flooring, climate-control,
UPS power supply, fire suppression system as well as
multiple redundant connections to major backbones such
as UUNET, Level3, Genuity, Sprint and Verizon. Our main
NOC has direct peering with 14 networks, including
connections to Aleron, Level3, Qwest and Cogent. Each
NOC is also equipped with backup batteries and diesel
generators, Cisco routers and switches; and is staffed
24x7 by qualified system administrators and engineers.
All servers are secured in a state of the art Smart POP;
monitored by both on hand technicians, IP cameras and
door security via Hand geometry reader; OC3C connections
are physically diverse and Sonet protected; dual power
feeds backed up with UPS, Rectifiers, Batteries and
Generator to ensure our customers have near zero down
time.
Additionally, all Network Operation Centers use
industry-standard SNMP (Simple Network Management
Protocol) and provides round-the-clock monitoring of all
hardware, including routers, switches, UPS systems, and
servers. The Network Operation Centers also monitors
power, environmental factors (such as temperature and
humidity), generator status, and network connectivity.
All critical services/ports are monitored, including
FTP, HTTP, SMTP, HTTPS, SSH and POP3.
Electric Capacity - Reliability exceeds 99.999%. The
main electrical room provides clean, consistent power
via switchgear, UP systems, multiple feeds, and
generator backup to ensure a consistent supply of power
to the facility.
Environmental Control - Consistent temperature and
humidity ranges in the Data Center are maintained by
redundant cooling systems.
Security - In additional to the on-site security staff,
access is controlled by state-of-the-art identification
systems, including a biometrics hand scanner and card
reader.

How long does it take to set-up a new account?
All signups are manually verified by a Sales Executive
to reduce fraudulent orders by conducting a number of
verification tests. Account setup takes between 6-12
hours, usually less.

How do I transfer files to my web site?
To transfer files from your old server to our server,
simply download all of your files from your old server,
then login to our server using your account login
information and upload all of your files.

Do you maintain backups of my data?
Backups of data are made daily, weekly and monthly. Even
though Backups are made, MyEhost.net aka U.S. Sales &
Marketing is not held liable for any business lost due
to data loss or down time of our servers. Restorations
can be requested anytime and are generally free.
13.
Can I add space, increase bandwidth or upgrade my
account?
You can upgrade your account at anytime by simply
calling or e-mailing us.
14.
Do our servers support ASP?
Currently, our servers only supports
Apache
Active Server Pages (Apache
ASP) and do not
support any other Active Server Pages (ASP) but we do
have plans on enabling it in the near future.
15.
Are Shopping Carts available?
RedHat Interchange Shopping Cart and Agora Shopping Cart
are available free of charge to use. Support for these
shopping carts can be found at there perspective web
sites. You may also install your own Shopping Cart on
your account on our server. Our preferred shopping cart
system is by
EcomerceTemplates,
they offer a wide variety of shopping cart themes &
design layouts that can be easily configured with any of
the hosting packages that we offer.
16.
Do I get a commission if I refer somebody?
You will receive $10 credit towards your account for
each referral. Make sure that the user indicates your
domain name in the Comments section of the order form.
17.
How long will this promotion last?
This promotion is an on going promotion and maybe
modified and/or withdrawn at any time.
18.
Is Adult Content permitted?
Yes, as long as it's legal (no child porn). Please make
sure to indicate in the Account Type field on the signup
form "Adult Site".
19.
What's the catch?
There's no catch. There are no advertisements, no popup
windows, no contracts and you may cancel at anytime and
you will receive a refund for any unused portion.
